What readers are saying about the Subtle Whispers trilogy

An emotional page-turner, I couldn’t put the book down. Both poignant and inspirational, the cruelties this little girl suffers will make your heart cry and rejoice as she perseveres triumphant through each anguishing ordeal. The insights she channels from the other side are so thought-provoking one can’t help but wonder, do we all have “spirit guides” to help us along the way. Very intriguing and captivating, I look forward to the next installment in this trilogy!

5 out of 5 stars: Wow……I consumed this second book so quickly….was sad but joyful when I put it down! Having read Laura James’ first Subtle Whispers book, I was pretty eager to get reading her second book. I think I ordered it the first day it was released. I took the book with me everywhere for a week, reading and reflecting on her personal stories of challenge, the spiritual guidance she was given, and how those messages not only resonated with life as an individual, but life as a collective humanity. How many times do we listen? I mean really listen. How many times do we have to forgive others but more importantly, forgive ourselves? Laura James shares the rawness of her life in a way that allows the reader to accept the sometimes-twisted accounts of our behaviours and move so far above them that a new perspective is unavoidable. Be prepared to be changed. Be prepared to really like that change.
